JD SF6000 using SF1 signal needs 6 inches of overlap. Upgrading to RTK allows your overlap to be set to 0 in flat terrain. In hilly terrain RTK has the best performance with a vertical accuracy of +/- 2 inches while SF3 is +/- 3.5 inches. Reduced overlap means you save time and money.
Since RTK vertical accuracy is far superior, It is required for Water management products with Deere. Our network you will experience a +/- 2 inch RTK accuracy, However Deere does recommend you be within 2km of a base station to experience +/- 1.7 inch RTK accuracy.
